How we hire.
Three stages. Around 10 working days end to end. We pay £400 for the take‑home regardless of outcome.

01 · Day 0
Conversation
45 minutes with the partner who owns the surface area. Honest scope of the role, your last two operating projects, your refusals.

02 · Day 1–5
Working project
A paid scope based on something we've actually built. ~6 hours of focused work. We share the rubric upfront. We don't ghost.

03 · Day 6–10
Operating panel
Two‑hour panel with three operators — review of your project, system design discussion, references. Offer or decline within 48h.

Top‑decile comp
£110k – £180k UK base, equivalents elsewhere. Equity on top. Annual review with a real raise.
Real ownership
You own a surface area, not tasks. Partners protect your scope. You ship under your name.
Async by default
3 anchor hours of overlap. Otherwise we don't meet. We write things down.
32 days off
Public holidays on top. We close the company for 10 working days in August and December.
Stipend, not perks
£3,500/yr equipment + workspace. £2,000/yr learning. No catalog.
Pension + health
Top‑tier private health in all three markets. 8% pension match. Parental leave: 6 months full.
